It's an integral part of their personality. :-) Bear is a common nickname for black labs, I think. I know quite a few people who call their black labs, "Bear". I've taken it to a whole new level here. The cat is Pooh Bear, the dog is Kodi Bear and the child is Drue Bear. We have mad bear love around these parts. I originally wrote the post about his antics over the last 10 months and realized that it was a novel... So there is a part 2 and maybe a part 3 coming soon. And yes, dogs like this really are the best dogs ever. Kodi's personality, while challenging at times, fits in perfectly with this insane little family of mine and I can't imagine life without him. :-) Kodi is definitely a challenge but oh so worth it.
